Finally finished, after ten whole months---whew! When the giant carp of inspiration hits, it hits hard.
On the Spooner Continent, the Sorcerer Hunters are the sole protection of the common people against the dangers of evil Sorcerers and the deadly forbidden magics called Kinjyu. One of the anchors of the team has always been Marron Glaces, the beautiful and enigmatic magician whose true personality is almost as mysterious as his past. He's the sole stable member of the team, a calm and steadying influence, loved by all---especially by Gateau Mocha, his handsome warrior teammate.
"Adiemus" explores Marron's past, his magic, his life, and his loves. And his ultimate destiny, which may well reshape the entire future of the Spooner Continent, for better or for worse.
A few warnings: 1) Because Bakuretsu Hunter ended during the writing of this story, after the plot was 99% planned, certain elements of it contradict the canon storyline. Hazards of writing fanfiction for an ongoing series. 2) As you might have guessed, this is an adventure with shounen ai romantic elements. Homophobes, this isn't the story for you. 3) "Adiemus" is dark---significantly darker than even the darkest chapters of the BH manga. Not much lighthearted comedy here. 4) Lots of mature stuff ahead---violence, death, destruction, mayhem, love, sex, angst, betrayal, the whole kit n' kaboodle. I'd say this story would probably rate an "R" on the MPAA rating scale. 5) On the other hand, there's not much in the way of explicit sex, for you yaoi fans out there looking for heaving chests and flying bodily fluids. Sorry.
