A single publisher will often distribute different titles under a variety of imprints that designate the manga's market focus and/or content. Shueisha, for example, publishes shounen titles under the "Jump Comics" imprint, shoujo titles for younger readers under the "Ribon Mascot Comics" imprint, and shoujo titles for teens under the "Margaret Comics" imprint. For most manga, the imprint can be found blazoned on the front cover and at the top of the tankoubon's spine, while the publisher's name is located (in kanji) at the base of the spine.
Check the pull down menu to see if the Imprint you want to review is in the list, if it is there, please select it. Otherwise, please enter the imprint name in the text field. If you enter an imprint that already exists in the project's database, the publisher name will automatically be generated in the publisher field, you do not need to enter it. If you enter a new imprint in the text field and you can identify the publisher, please add the publisher information, see the links below. If you don't know the imprint, but know the publisher, please enter it.
New imprint and publisher information will be added to the database's files for your future convenience, and will appear in the pull down menus in an update.
