The Input Forms

The title review form asks for basic review information, such as title, author, imprint, genre categorization, and optional aspect information. Definitions of the input fields should answer any questions you may have about the input form. If you still have questions, please contact YCP Admin.

You may submit multiple reviews for the same title. If you submit a review in error, please contact YCP Admin for assistance.

Collecting Background Information

To make the title reviews more useful, we also collect information about authors, imprints, and publishers. This allows us to include information such as lists of titles by the same author. If you would like to add information about an existing or new author, imprint, or publisher, please use the forms below.

Instructions on How to Add a Title

First, determine if the title belongs in the YCP lists by deciding if it fits the project's definition of boys' love/yaoi/shounen-ai.

Next, fill in a review form. The form for adding a title to these lists is quite long.

• In all cases, if you don't know the information requested, or if none of the choices apply, please leave that section blank.
• If you are uncertain of the information you have, enter it anyway.
• In many cases, a title can belong in more than one place. The checkboxes allow you to select more than one item at a time. Please check all that apply.
• For definitions of what the various items mean, each link in the form takes you to a definition and several examples.
• If you have additional information on a title, please add it by submitting a new form. You only need enter the title and any additional or changed information.

Last, when you have entered the information you want to add to the lists, click on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the form.

Note: We currently plan to update the lists with new submissions once a month, possibly more frequently if we are able.
