| Plot Summaries: | The tree immortal world's troops have been assigned the dangerous task of rounding up the remnants of a failed revolution before they can reassemble for a second try. One soldier, a habitual loner, unwillingly picks up a human as a follower and aide, and later other friends and soldiers, in his quest to bring the rebel leader to justice. - reviewed by MEverdark | ||||||||||||
| Remarks: | Morimoto's sometimes awkward, but endearing rectangular character designs in G-Defend are now gorgeous, flowing and consistent. The author is a fan of Hong Kong action flicks and you can see the influence in her well executed fight scenes. The plot is well structured and complex, weaving five main characters and a host of supporting characters into a coherent whole. A good title for those who like historical fantasy and detailed plots.
