| Plot Summaries: | Hiroshi is an up-and-coming young mangaka (shounen) who gets his big break when he becomes the assistant of a popular famous mangaka, Kagura. Problem 1: Kagura is a yaoi mangaka. Problem 2: Kagura is gay and madly in love with Hiroshi, who isn't (he says). Problem 3: Kagura is shy and sweet until he drinks, whereupon he becomes insanely seductive; Hiroshi is crabby until *he* drinks, whereupon he becomes... insanely seductive. | Remarks: | This started as a series of short stories in Kodaka's anthology, "Sebiro no Housekeeper". Recently got its own treatment in a mini-series, all of which was incorporated into a tankoubon. It wasn't enough to fill the tankoubon, apparently, so the last chunk of the tankoubon is taken up by a completely unrelated short story called "Toki no Okibi", which appears to be the start of a new series. - reviewed by Nora |
