Midare Somenishi

Sort of a yaoi version of Rurouni Kenshin. Red-haired swordsman with a good heart and a tendency to drop into an insane bloodthirsty battle-rage. He gets captured, along with his little brother, by a gang of mountain bandits. The bandit leader takes a shine to him and rapes him, then forces him to join the band by holding his bro hostage. Years pass; the swordsman comes to like being a bandit, which suits his violent nature. He comes to like the rough sex, too, but won't admit it. The story follows his adventures, even after tragedy strikes and he leaves the band. Side-story of the little brother, who becomes the band's sex slave and falls in love with the one compassionate bandit in the bunch. The main character seems to spend a lot of time feeling guilty about not being able to protect his baby brother. The character designs are very muscular, except for the okama. Don't look for skinny, willowy body types here. - reviewed by MEverdark
