Plot Summaries:

Five short stories

- a man wakes to find himself reliving the last two days of his life, and believes that his death is caused by his pet bird looking for revenge
- a lake spirit comes across a drowning man and saves him, only to find he can't get rid of him
- a computer programmer falls for one of his sister's customers (she owns and runs a bar)
- a teen runs away from his new home, thinking that they'll be happier without him - reviewed by MEverdark

Remarks:

The last short story is about the same characters as the first short story in Wishing Our Happy Lucky Days. One short story includes cannibalism. Another includes rape. The art style is smudgy and character designs tend to be less willowy and more realistic. All her characters look disheveled or rumpled, though that may be a side effect of the smudgy art style.
