Background

What people call Heaven, is actually two places. One is a place of Light, ruled by the God of Law, a place where souls can find a brief respite before they continue on their endless journey of reincarnation. The other place is Darkness, the realm of death. A place where souls can find eternal peace.

Death, who lived in Darkness, believes that the world will be destoryed after a hundred years. To gain control over Light, he has descended onto earth, into the soul of a youth called Esuke KIRI.

Characters

Esuke KIRI

Adopted son of Shiziro KIRI, now the head of Noir Corporation. He is the mortal form of Death, has built Eden Island, a place where all wishes can come true, for a price. But is he losing his identity in face of Death's desires?

Satomi TACHIBANA

Esuke's secretary and lover. He is torn between his love for Esuke and his devotion to the completion of Shiziro's project.

Kai

Another youth with supernatural powers, Death and Justice vie with each other to be the first to possess his soul.

Michio KOHENA

A good natured detective. Completely lacking in any psychic power. But he has been chosen to be the host of Godess of Justice, and must stop Esuke and Shiziro's plans before it is too later.

Shiziro KIRI

The founder of Noir Corporation, and the former host of Death. He had handpicked Esuke, a youth of immense psychic powers as his successore. His grand project -- to win over the souls of all the beautiful youth in the world, and grant them their darkest desires.
