GUST: Shonen ai monthly Contents: Usual GUST artists include Sakurako Gokurakuin (Tokyo Love Story), Ranma Nekokichi (O-Sakana no Ame no Naka), Kumiko Natsuga (Ecstacy), et al. Revolving series of eclectic themes, including texted stories in each issue. Yaoi Value: 2.5 Majority is Shonen ai. The more racier section, which is a rarety, are sealed. (The type that requires you to cut the pages with scissors for you to separate the pages to read.) Nekokichi’s Crash Junky (on left) is the only story I’ve crossed so far that came sealed. Artistic Value: 2.5 Overall Rating: 2.75 This magazine has good potential to be a great yaoi magazine if GUST artists commit themselves to it since most of these artists do yaoi for other magazines already. Mitigating Factor: The fan art submissions are more explicit than the actual content.
